Way' all JANT 2022 Participants,

Welcome to the beautiful Syilx Territory for the 2022 Jr. All Native Tournament (JANT).  It has been a long road to get here.

We know this event is more than just a tournament but is a huge part of our First Nation’s communities and culture. It is a place where we come together to compete, see old friends and make new ones and our Syilx Basketball Teams are honored to host and present this year’s tournaments.

The Jr All Native is one of the largest First Nation grassroots events in the province and we recognize that it takes a great deal of time and energy of coaches, parents, community supporters and families to make this happen. I personally as a basketball parent, coach, & fan am thankful for this. As such, our Syilx Basketball team wants to take the time to honor and recognize coaches, past and present, who have volunteered their time to youth and especially those who started this great tradition.

We would like to commend everyone who has worked and sacrificed to be here. We know the level of effort required to train, fundraise and travel from all across the province to attend this annual event. We appreciate what it takes for fans, athletes, fundraisers, coaches and managers to make this JANT week special for our youth.

Our priority for this tournament is to create a safe and healthy environment for all our youth athletes to compete and participate.  Please enjoy a great week of competition on the basketball court.
